Red Barn Kitchen is a caterer located in Charlotte, Vermont, offering special events and pop-up dinners, as well as offsite catering. Located at the home of chefs Matt and Kate Jennings, our commercial kitchen has been created to offer simple and seasonal food from our garden as well as surrounding farms, producers, and artisans. To experience Red Barn is to celebrate our unique agricultural landscape and those who work hard every day to bring food to the table.

Matt and Kate Jennings are lifelong chefs and lovers of good food and have a deep love for creating memorable hospitality experiences. In 2018, Matt released his first cookbook, ‘Homegrown; Cooking From My New England Roots’, which was met with critical acclaim.

The two now live adjacent to Red Barn Kitchen with their two sons Sawyer and Coleman, their Bluetick Coonhound Hank, French Bulldog Stella, and a seasonal vegetable garden.
